The Juliette Gordon Low Society
Help Keep Juliette's Dream Alive!
Make a lasting endowment gift by joining the Juliette Gordon
Low Society.
Juliette Gordon Low dreamed of "something for all the
girls," and in 1912 she formed the first Girl Scout troop--
the white rose patrol. Nurtured by Juliette's personal funding--
she sold her necklace of rare pearls for $8,000 to finance
operations in the early days-the Girl Scout movement grew
and flourished. Juliette Gordon's white rose patrol began
with a 18 girls but has blossomed into an organization with
3.7 million Girl Scouts. To find out more about Juliette
Gordon Low, see her biography on the GSUSA
web site.
Members of the Juliette Gordon Low Society believe the legacy
of Girl Scouting should be preserved for future girls. By
including the council in your estate and legacy plans, you
will have the satisfaction of supporting Girl Scouts in a
meaningful and permanent way.
With a planned gift through the Juliette Gordon Low Society
you will:
- Provide continued support even after your lifetime
- Be more generous than might be possible with an
outright gift
- Receive or increase income
- Realize a tax benefit
